  • Access Services and Delivery

    Collections, Access, & Delivery maintains and makes accessible the entirety of circulating materials for Strozier, Dirac, and The School of Engineering. Across these libraries, the department maintains their physical collection, manages several service desks, and operates a campus wide delivery service.

  • Allen Music Library

    The mission of the Warren D. Allen Music Library is to support the learning and research needs of the College of Music and the University, through the provision of materials, access, and services related to scholarly research and performance of music.

  • Business Administration

    Business Administration oversees the fiscal management of the Libraries as directed by the Dean. This includes everything from planning the budget to closing out expenditures at the end of each fiscal year.

  • Circulation

    The Borrowing Materials page includes a list of those who can borrow and fines that are incurred if materials are not returned by the due date.

    The Circulation department will help you finding materials, or reporting materials lost.

  • Claude Pepper Library

    The Claude Pepper Library was established in 1985 as the official repository for the Claude Pepper Papers, a unique and multi-faceted collection of manuscripts, photographs, audio/video recordings, and memorabilia by and about U.S. Congressman Claude Pepper (1900-1989).

  • Collection Development and Access

    Collection Development and Access is the area of the Library responsible for the ordering, purchasing, and maintenance of  the collection of books, videos, electronic resources, cd-roms, microforms, and other media. In addition, we maintain the library's budgets, process invoices, process the Library's continuations (publications we receive on a regular basis), and negotiate with vendors. We coordinate the selection of materials purchases with Subject Librarians and The Florida State University faculty.

  • Dirac Science Library

    The Paul Dirac Science Library, located on the FSU’s Legacy Walk, has been renovated with new and improved amenities, technology, and seating! From students to faculty and staff, Dirac has a resource for you.

  • Electronic Resources Management

    Electronic Resources is responsible for acquiring, maintaining, and providing access to the library's online materials, including research databases, online journals, and ebooks.

  • Facilities

    Facilities Management at The Florida State University Libraries effectively and efficiently provides maintenance and operational services that support the faculty, staff and students in pursuit of excellence in their individual and institutional academic research and community objectives.

  • FAMU-FSU Engineering Library

    Our primary mission is to give each and every student the very best available service. Specifically the College of Engineering library provides materials, services and facilities to support the needs of both FAMU and FSU engineering students.

  • Heritage & University Archives

    The mission of Heritage & University Archives is to locate, identify, record, assist in the preservation of, and promote knowledge about the history of Florida State University and its predecessor institutions.

  • Human Resources

    The Human Resources Team administers human resource activities and functions for the University Libraries and serves as the liaison to the University’s Department of Human Resources and to the Dean of Faculties Human Resources.

  • Innovation Hub

    The Innovation Hub is designed to support Design Thinking with the latest technologies, a Digital Fablab, Virtual Reality Lab, Hackerspace, and a variety of spaces and technologies for collaborative work.

  • Law Research Center

    The Research Center serves as the law library for Florida State University. Our primary mission is to train our students to produce highly sophisticated and cost-effective legal research.

  • London Study Center

    Since 1971, the FSU London Program has offered students from across the nation a fine liberal arts curriculum in an historic seat of Western government, commerce, and literature. The London Study Centre is located in a row of 17th century buildings registered on the British National Heritage list.

  • Maguire Medical Library

    The Maguire Medical Library collaborates with students, residents, fellows, faculty, and researchers to support the medical curriculum and research objectives of the Florida State University College of Medicine.

  • Marketing and Communications

    The FSU Libraries Marketing Team is committed to producing high-quality branded materials and content to better engage FSU students, faculty, staff, and the entire scholarly community. We aim to tell the story of the FSU Libraries.

  • Metadata and Discovery Services

    The Metadata and Discovery Services Department provide accurate and sufficient metadata so that users can find, identify, select, and access library resources.

  • Monographic Acquisitions

    The Monographic Acquisitions Department is responsible for the purchasing of books, videos, and other materials for our library collections.

  • Panama City Library, Republic of Panama

    The FSU-Panama Branch Library is the most comprehensive English language academic library in the Republic of Panama. It primarily serves students and faculty engaged in undergraduate teaching and learning.

    Library Security staff are responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of all individuals, their belongings and University property.

    Social Science, Arts & Humanities, located on the lower level of Strozier Library, offers resources to facilitate study and research by faculty and graduate students.

    The Special Collections & Archives Division of the Florida State University Libraries advances research by acquiring, providing access and preserving original primary source materials.

    STEM Libraries are a group of librarians and staff that engage STEM scholars across the research, learning, and teaching lifecycles.

    The TLE team champions the success of the FSU community by leading creative collaborations and providing inclusive spaces and services that enhance teaching, enrich learning, and foster student engagement.

  • Technology and Digital Scholarship

    Providing high-quality technology services, leadership in digital scholarship, and supporting new models of scholarly communication, the Technology and Digital Scholarship department delivers solutions that work in a diverse, fast-paced academic environment.

  • Technology Center

    The Technology Center offers the use of its facilities and collections to FSU’s students with the goal of supporting classroom assignments, instruction, and the general support of the university's mission. We offer equipment checkout, media help, technology troubleshooting, and appointment or walk-in assistance at all hours Strozier, Dirac, and FAMU-FSU Engineering Libraries are open.
