Collection Development and Access is the area of the Library responsible for the ordering, purchasing, and maintenance of the collection of books, videos, electronic resources, cd-roms, microforms, and other media. In addition, we maintain the library's budgets, process invoices, process the Library's continuations (publications we receive on a regular basis), and negotiate with vendors.

Serving primarily undergraduate students, the Research and Information Services provides a variety of resources and spaces designed to support student academic success and promote social connections.

Library Security staff are responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of all individuals, their belongings and University property. Security Staff are located at the entrance/exit area of the Strozier and Dirac Libraries. In addition, Security staff routinely patrol the building. Feel free to ask for assistance at any time. The Technology Center offers the use of its facilities and collections to FSU’s students with the goal of supporting classroom assignments, instruction, and the general support of the university's mission. We offer equipment checkout, media help, technology troubleshooting, and appointment or walk-in assistance at all hours Strozier, Dirac, and FAMU-FSU Engineering Libraries are open.
